National Team

The National Team is comprised of key constituents at institutions and/or agencies which advocate learning-centered education principles and practices. The role of the National Team members is to serve as high level advisors and provide input on the general program structure and curriculum of the National Faculty Center. Members are expected to give feedback on instructional design as well as offer strategies for appropriate selection of faculty and administrators from participating institutions.

The UA Faculty Advisory Team is comprised of key representatives from academic departments across campus who have demonstrated a commitment to learning-centered education practices. The role of the Faculty Advisory Team is to offer specific and creative input about the design of curricular protocol that is applicable to postsecondary professionals in all disciplines. This team also develops delivery strategies and processes that support and model learning-centered education principles. These members facilitate sessions and workshops at the institute when appropriate

The University of Arizona Development Team is comprised of individuals who have a vested interest in and commitment to the success of the National Faculty Center. The role of the Development Team is to make decisions on the content and structure of the NFC and facilitate sessions and workshops at the institute when appropriate.

The Project Leadership Team is comprised of individuals who have direct responsibility for the coordination and operation of the National Faculty Center. The role of the Project Leadership Team is to implement decisions and perform all curricular and administrative tasks associated with the successful actualization of the National Faculty Center.

Curriculum Development Team

The Curriculum Development Team is comprised of individuals with experience and understanding of teaching and learning, cognitive psychology, program evaluation and assessment, and learning-centered educational principles and their implementation. This team establishes the underlying principles upon which the curriculum will be based, develops a working model for the Institute, and determines formative and summative evaluation strategies to assess desired outcomes.
